Nine Recommendations

1. Fiber One Cereal Bars. Does your colon need to be blasted? Here’s the trick: Eat a Fiber One cereal bar. Actually, maybe I should instruct you to eat the Fiber One bar directly on the toilet, for it is VERY effective. For some of us, this is a good thing.

2. Betty Crocker “bowls.” They actually taste good and are large enough in serving size to be satisfying, as opposed to your run of the mill frozen box lunch (I’m looking at you Lean Cuisine)

3. Revisit your college CD collection. Party like it’s 1999!

4. Friday Night Lights. The T.V. Show, now on DVD. Addictive.

5. Crawl out of the social isolation hole you’ve been living in and call EVERYONE in your phone book, one by one, night after night, until you’ve reconnected with pals, friends, family and super heroes. (I’m only on night two of this adventure, but so far, so good)

6. Jello Jigglers/Knox Blocks. So good, so cheap, so low calorie.

7. Avon Ideal Shade Smooth Mineral Make-up. Do you like that mineral make-up shit, but dislike shelling out $25 for a tiny jar? Try Avon’s version. It’s just as good at ¼ of the price.

8. Become an expert on something completely random. For example, the mating practices of Canadian Geese.

9. My Morning Jacket, the band, not the apparel.

I eat a Fiber One cereal bar almost every day. Honestly..It has little effect on me. And I am eating it for the fiber. What am I doing wrong?

OMG the Fiber One bars ROCK!!!! Chocolate Chip and then the Caramel ones. We buy 'em by the caseload at Sam's. I'm on WW so they're great for breakfast at just two points. You should see us all at our weight watcher meetings, as soon as everyone weights in you hear this crinkling noise cuz everyone's taking out their Fiber One bars to eat! Actually, we should probably eat 'em before we weigh in so we can crap before we weigh in, but then that would be a 'crapshoot' in the event we aren't able to use the bathroom, then we'd have that cereal bar in our guts which would weigh us down before weigh-in.

See, we're a sicko bunch!

Hhahaahh. Actually, you looked fun and you're talking Fiber One bars, so it had to be good!

Number 5 is such a good idea! Be sure to keep us updated on how it goes. And also, I'm totally making a mental note of number 1 in case I am ever in need of such information

I like eating Grape Nuts with raisins on it in the morning for the lovely fiber effect. I've even gone so far as to try All-Bran, but that stuff is ROUGH.

Fiber One is so awesome! I love the Fiber One bars and the Fiber One cereal. It's so great! I didn't know that they were only two points on WW, but that's awesome! I'm going to have to start eating them for breakfast!

Calling everyone in my phone book TOTALLY gives me the heebs and also is exactly the kind of face-your-fears exercise I should be doing on a regular basis.

What is the DEAL with mineral makeup? I keep SKIMMING all these makeup posts but when Flib talks, I listen. WHAT IS IT?

Who knew Fiber One was so popular? I thought it was me and octagenarians in the market, but apparently you're all with me! Yay!

Tessie, mineral make-up is far superior to liquid foundation. Do you wear foundation? If so, mineral make-up will make you so happy because it's light and the coverage is superior and you don't get clogged poors or look like you're wearing make-up. That's what I know.

And calling people is like the hardest thing I've done in a VERY long time. But, it's felt really good.

omg. i am now officially petrified of fiber one bars and will AVOID AT ALL COSTS. uh, unless things change drastically around my belly parts, i guess.

#5 scares me to death, too. i'm such a moron about that sort of thing. i'm always thrilled to hear from random people, but assume others will think i'm a freak if i call THEM out of the blue. sigh.

Huh. I might try those betty crocker bowls, although there's something about eating "Betty Crocker" things that do not entail dessert that make me suspicious.
