Cookies? Please!

Hi

This is not a real post but more a lame solicitation for recipes . . . does anyone have a really yummy recipe for a cookie that does NOT involve chocolate. It would be extra good if it also did not involve any sort of unnatural ingredient (like butterscotch chips, or something of that ilk). I want to make some cookies to send in a care package for my dad, but they have to be healthy. Also, I'm not ingesting anything preserved or artificial due to my mysterious and very painful condition (recommended by my doctor, the internet) and I would also like to enjoy a cookie.

HELP!!!

Love and Kisses, as always

I am totally useless here because not only do I avoid cookies like the plague, but if I did make cookies, they would be crammed with all sorts of delicious, chocolatey, artificial ingredients. But I am curious to see what other people recommend. I hope you get some good ones.

Cookies without chocolate? What's the point? How about Snickerdoodles? Are they artificial? If not, email me for the recipe!

Have you ever been on Cookie Madness? There's even a special category for wholesome cookies. www.cookiemadness.net. Oops, but a lot of them have chocolate. If you dno't mind white chocolate, I made some delicious white chocolate blueberry ginger oatmeal cookies once. http://www.redredwhine.com/?p=365.

I'm back, as promised!

Behold, 'Cry Babies' (so good they make you want to cry)

1 c sugar
1 c crisco
1 egg, beaten
(blend)
1/2 c molasses
1 c hot water
2 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp salt
4 c flour
add remaining ingredients as listed, blend. drop on greased baking sheet, bake @ 375 degrees for 10-15 mins.

For the frosting (which is the absolute best part, beware of eating it without the cookies)
mix milk, butter, powdered sugar, and a little vanilla until you get a frosting-like consistency.
PS: I would love to take credit for these heaven-like morsels, but sadly I owe my best friend's mom and/or grandma. That's also why the directions seem vague (if they seem vague - they seem vague to ME) - they are master bakers, with little need for such trivialities as detailed recipes.

Hope you enjoy!

I made these:
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Banana-Pudding-Sugar-Cookies/Detail.aspx and they were DELICIOUS. If you don't like banana, you can use any instant pudding mix. Very nummy.
